During the first New Earth webcast with Oprah, Eckhart
explains that all creative endeavor is born out of stillness. He says,
“…it’s getting in touch with the stillness within,
where there’s no mental noise, and out of that stillness, when the
time is right, sometimes an impulse comes – a feeling, a strong
sense that something wants to be born into this world.”
Are you listening to Eckhart and Oprah and saying,

SETUP STATEMENT:
Even though I am more used to doing, I choose to practice being.

SETUP STATEMENT: Even though
my “to-do” list keeps getting longer and longer, I choose
to take a few deep breaths right now and feel the magic around me.
TAKE A DEEP BREATH!
TAPPING SEQUENCE:
TH - my ‘to-do’ list
EB - it keeps getting longer and longer
SE - causing me stress
UE - taking deep breaths
UN - releasing all this “do-do”
CH - releasing all this stress
CB - letting go of it just for this moment
UA - breathing deeply in this moment
TAKE A DEEP BREATH
TH - focusing on my breath
EB - focusing on how magical it is to breathe
SE - focusing on being here right now
UE - allowing myself to fell the magic around me
UN - it feel good to be part of that magic
CH - realizing that every moment is a chance to feel that magic
CB - I love feeling the magic in this moment
UA - choosing to feel the magic of life in every moment

LEFT SIDE: I accept myself even if I let go of all thoughts about my “to-do”
list.
RIGHT SIDE: I choose to breathe deeply and just be with the magic of life
in this moment.
SETUP STATEMENT:
Even though I am so busy every day, I choose to take
the time right in this moment to just be, to go within, and to connect
with my breath and my spirit.
Even though when I am with others I still feel
that busy-ness, I choose to take a moment to just be… with my friends,
my partner, my loved ones… to simply be present, even if it is just
for that moment.
Even if I am more comfortable thinking about
what I have to do, I can just imagine how wonderful it feels to just be
present in every moment.
TAPPING SEQUENCE:
TH – So busy every day
EB – Feel that busy-ness with others
SE – Always thinking about what I have to do
UE – Being used to that busy-ness
UN – That busy-ness keeps me disconnected from other people
CH – That busy-ness keeps me disconnected from myself
CB – What would it feel like to not have that busy-ness in my
life
UA – Would it be OK to enjoy the present moment?
TAKE A DEEP BREATH
TH – Allowing myself to just be in this moment right
now
EB – By focusing on my breath (TAKE A DEEP BREATH)
SE – It feels good to connect with my breath and my spirit
UE – I choose to do this more and more
UN – I allow myself to connect with the people I share moments
with
CH – I allow myself to be present with them if only for a moment
CB – I allow myself to feel more comfortable just being with
the moment
UA – Because it feels so good to just be.
SETUP STATEMENT: Even if I
try to define what my purpose is in life, I chose to begin asking what
purpose life has for me.
Even if the answer may not immediately come,
I choose to be ready to receive the answer by letting go of the repetitive
mental noise of thinking and inviting moments of stillness into my life.
Even if I don’t have to obey every impulse
because some impulses come from superficial levels, I choose to be wise
enough to know the difference between egoic impulses and spiritual guidance.
TAPPING SEQUENCE:
TH – Even if I keep trying to define what my purpose
is in life
EB – I forgive myself
SE – Even if I keep looking outside myself for my life’s
purpose
UE – I accept myself
UN – Even if I don’t know what my purpose in life is
CH – I accept my life anyway
CB – Even if I never understand my life’s purpose
UA – I choose to enjoy each moment anyway
TAKE A DEEP BREATH
TH – Even if I begin asking life what purpose it has
for me
EB – That’s OK
SE – Even if I expect an immediate answer and don’t get
one
UE – I accept myself and my life anyway
UN – Even if I keep having thoughts go around and around in
my head
CH – I choose to keep inviting moments of stillness into my
life
CB – Even if the stillness only lasts for a moment
UA – I choose to keep choosing stillness in more and more moments
TAKE A DEEP BREATH
TH – Even if I get new impulses that encourage more
busy-ness
EB – I choose to be gentle with myself
SE – Even if I have expectations about my life
UE – I choose to stay flexible with what life offers me
UN – Even if I don’t know where my ideas and urges come
from
CH – I choose to go into stillness and connect with spirit
CB – I choose to be wise enough to know the difference between
egoic inmpulses and spiritual guidance
UA – I choose to be open to receiving whatever purpose life
has in store for me.
TEMPORAL TAP - LIFE's PURPOSE
LEFT SIDE: I accept myself even if I stop trying to define
my purpose in life
RIGHT SIDE: Right now, I choose to ask what purpose life has for me.
TEMPORAL TAP - QUIET MIND
LEFT SIDE: I accept myself even if I let go of all those busy
thoughts that run through my head
RIGHT SIDE: Right now, I accept myself if I quiet my mind and relax
into stillness.
TEMPORAL TAP - FLOW WITH LIFE
LEFT SIDE: I accept myself even if I let go of my rigid expectations
RIGHT SIDE: I love and accept myself being wise enough to harmonize
with whatever purpose life has for me.

cannot help but notice the similarities between Eckhart's discourses and
the energies of our body's energy centers - the Chakras.
Specifically, the Crown Chakra and
the Third Eye Chakra invite up to connect with the spirit, or as Eckhart
describes God, Presence. Clearing our minds and seeing the truth of who
we really are is easier when our Third Eye is activated.
And connecting with all of life is
a function of the first energy center - our Root Chakra.
